RAICo engages with supply chain at nuclear decommissioning event

17 January 2025

Collaboration and relationship-building took centre stage when RAICo joined 300 exhibitors at the NDA Group’s Supply Chain Event.

The annual gathering, now in its 10th year and focused on decommissioning, attracted 2,000 delegates to the Telford International Centre.

The event was launched by David Peattie, Chief Executive of the NDA Group.

He said: “I am proud to welcome everyone to our milestone 10th Supply Chain Event, which once again provides a crucial opportunity for our sector to share expertise and build collaboration.

“The supply chain is a vital component of our operations, working collaboratively with our dedicated staff to drive success.

“The expertise, dedication, and innovation within the supply chain are essential to progressing our mission. The contribution of supply chain colleagues enables us to tackle some of the most complex challenges in nuclear decommissioning and the wider industry.”

RAICo is committed to supporting industry partners by providing them with opportunities to implement their expertise through the delivery of published contract opportunities.

Driving local, regional and wider economic growth and prosperity remains a key goal of the Collaboration.

The team spent the day discussing RAICo’s vision, mission, and purpose. Visitors to the RAICo stand also had the opportunity to see a quadruped robot in action.

Dr Salvador Pacheco-Gutierrez, Head of RAICo Technology, was part of the team at the event.

He said: “It was great to connect with so many delegates at the NDA Supply Chain Event. Seeing the collaboration and innovation driving the future of nuclear decommissioning was truly inspiring. I’m excited about what lies ahead!”

Supply chain collaboration is central to RAICo’s mission, with all Invitations to Tender which are publicly advertised.
